Diamondhead is on the north side of I-10 between Pass Christian and Bay St. Louis, in a residential community with two 18-hole layouts, the Pine and the Cardinal.

The Pine meanders along narrow, tree-lined fairways with water in play on six holes and is a challenging, target-style layout. The White tees play to 6,324 yards 71.1/132, course/slope ratings with one longer and two shorter tees. The Cardinal has more character as it roams over slightly rolling contours with four water hazards on the back side and a liberal amount of sand traps overall. The White tees on the Cardinal play to 6,128 yards, 71.0/131, course/slope ratings, and both designed by Earl Stone.
