The Golf Club at Margaritaville is an hour north of Houston on Lake Conroe off I-45 at Hwy 106 then west to Lake Conroe.

The routing is over relatively flat terrain with fairways lined by tall hardwoods and pines along with a few homes and is somewhat target golf off the tee. The fairways are generally narrow with numerous dog legs, water hazards, and forced carries with a variety of shapes and sizes of sand traps along the fairways and guarding the greens. It was designed by Jeffrey Blume and from the tips can play to 6,921 yards, the Blue tees are at 6,550 yards, 71.2/129, course/slope ratings.
