The Links at Crystal Lakes is located northwest of Detroit in Pontiac east of Telegraph and 3/4 mile west of Woodward Avenue.

The course primarily features water hazards as an obstacle to par with several holes bounded by Crystal Lake along with an island green. There's a mix of long and short holes along broad, undulating fairways bordered by trees with numerous doglegs and a generous amount of sand bunkers. The current routing is a Dr. Michael Hurdzan design from 1995 which plays to a par of 70 and measures 5,587 yards from the tips (65.1/107, course/slope ratings) with two alternate sets of tees.
