Hiawatha Landing is located just west of Binghamton on the banks of the Susquehanna River in the Finger Lakes/Catskills region of New York.

The golf course has a links-style layout over undulating terrain, with occasional stands of trees at the borders and exterior holes bounded by dense forest. The broad fairways are lined by tall fescue rough with natural waste areas, wetlands, and water hazards, and an abundance of sand bunkers of various shapes and sizes defending the fairways and greens. Designed by Brian Silva and Mark Mungeam, the course can play to 7,159 yards from the back tees, 74.3/133 course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
