Tioga is halfway between Elmira and Binghamton off the Southern Tier in Nichols.

The golf course is a parkland layout navigating the Susquehanna River Valley over a slight amount of elevation change. The fairways are defined by trees along doglegs left and right with with seven holes where water's in play and small sand bunkers defending many of the modest greens. It's a par 71 and from the blue tees, 6,080 yards, 69.4/123, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Hal Purdy.
