The Mackinaw Club is just a few miles south of Mackinaw City off I-75 at the US 31 exit to the south.

The golf course was carved through the woods and over 300 acres of natural wetlands and streams along forested corridors and wide open, rolling meadows with water features in play on half the holes. It plays to 6,807 yards from the tips with a 124 slope, the white tees play to 6,313 yards, 68.9/121, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Jerry Matthews.
