Hidden River Golf & Casting Club is about 20 minutes northeast of Petoskey and 20 minutes south of Mackinaw City in Brutus.

The course journeys through a scenic setting along the Maple River with an interesting and varied layout over mounded, tree-lined fairways. It has an assortment of doglegs, elevated tees, ponds, streams, marsh areas, sand bunkers and waste areas, and elevation changes from tee to green. From the tips, it's 7,101 yards with a 138 slope rating. The middle tees are 6,104, 69.4/125, course/slope ratings, or as short as 4,787 yards, designed by Bruce Matthews.
