The Majestic at Lake Walden is a Northern Michigan-style layout with 27 holes located an hour from downtown Detroit in the Hartland area off US 23 on the north side of Lake Walden.

The golf course is a parkland layout spread over a massive tract of natural land winding around Lake Walden over rolling hills with several forced carries and numerous slight doglegs. It's well bunkered with 120+ sand bunkers around the greens and in the fairway landing zones, in addition to multiple streams, marshland, and ponds in play. It's a Jerry Matthews design with holes 1-18 playing to 7,009 yards from the tips, 74.1/135, course/slope ratings, 10-27 6,904 yards, 6,749 yards, -73.8/138; 19/9-72.7/136, all with three shorter tees.
