Tilden Park is on the east side of Berkeley within the East Bay Regional park northeast of UC Berkeley.

The layout is a compact, parkland design winding along narrow, tree lined fairways over rolling terrain in a natural setting. It's generally straightforward with several slight doglegs and sand bunkers defending a number of the modest, elevated greens. It was designed by Billy Bell in 1937 with later revisions by Robert Muir Graves, and from the tips is 6,294 yards, par 70, 71.3/128, course/slope ratings and two shorter tees.
