TimberStone is 30 minutes west of Boise in West Caldwell on Boundary Road surrounded by farmland and fields in the Treasure Valley.

The golf course roams through a residential, real estate development and is wide open off the tee with scattered young trees at the borders. There's several ponds in play as well as a moderate amount of sand traps bordering the fairways and guarding the greens. It's a very straightforward and playable with the white tees at 6,417 yards, 69.2/117 course and slope ratings with one longer and two shorter tees, designed by John Steidel.
