The TPC Sawgrass is in Ponte Vedra Beach, between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. It's a bucket-list experience for the PLAYERS Stadium Course, designed by the diabolical Pete Dye and made famous by the 17th Island Green.

The layout is a Florida parkland design along native tree-lined and mounded fairways in a predominantly natural setting. There are extensive natural waste areas, multiple ponds, lakes, and wetlands with a variety of shapes and styles of sand bunkers in addition to greenside collection areas. It's a long 7,215 yards, 76.8/155 course/slope ratings from the TPC tees with four shorter tes.

There's also the Valley course, which, while somewhat overshadowed, is well-regarded in its own right. It may not possess the significant design elements of the Stadium, but it is challenging nonetheless, with water hazards on every hole and well-bunked fairway landing zones and greens. There are numerous tees from 5,126 yards to 6,864 yards, and the white tees are 6,125 yards, 70.9/130, course/slope ratings, designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed.
