The University of Maryland Golf Course is located south of the Beltway and west of Rt 1 off University Boulevard.

The course is along broad, tree lined fairways over a large, rolling tract of land. There's numerous gentle doglegs, a moderate amount of sand bunkering both along the fairways and greens, and several water hazards in play. It plays to 7,015 yards from the back tees, 73.7/137, course/slope ratings with six shorter tees, an original George Cobb design with a redesign by William R. Love.
