Vail Golf Club is on the south side of I-70 between exits 176 and 180 in the Vail Valley.

The course meanders over generally level terrain at the base of the Gore Mountain Range at an elevation of 8,200 feet in a scenic setting. It's a traditional layout along tree lined fairways with Gore Creek and numerous ponds to navigate and well bunkered fairways and greens. From the tips the course plays to 6,786 yards, par 71, 71.2/132, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees, designed by Ben Kreuger.
