Valley View is a municipal golf course located south of town on the east side of Roscoe Conkling Park off Memorial Parkway.

The course is challenging but fair. It winds through tree-lined fairways along slightly rolling contours, with sand traps primarily guarding the small, undulating, and quick greens. It's in a scenic setting, especially in the Fall, with stunning views across the valley. There are three sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,409 yards, 69.2/118, course/slope ratings, one of Robert Trent Jones, Sr.'s early works from the late 1930s.
