Waikoloa is a resort with 27 holes on the Kohala coast of the Big Island.

The courses march through the lava fields along broad fairways and landing zones bordering Anaehoomalu Bay. Other holes feature open links design along the lava fields exposed to the constant trade winds with numerous water features and strategic sand bunkering along the landing zones and greens. Overall it's a playable, resort style layout along fairways scattered with palm trees leading to well defended, generous greens. There's five sets of tees per nine with the Lakes/Beach rotation playing to 5,924 yards from the white tees, 68.8/128, course/slope ratings; Beach/Kings, 5,945 yards, 569.0/123; Lakes/Kings, 5,901 yards, 68.6/128 with design by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
