The West Lafayette Golf Club is west of Lafayette on US 52 just west of Klondike.
The layout features elevation change with uphill, downhill, sidehill lies as well as numerous blind shots. It's a parkland design along rolling tree lined fairways with Indian Creek and a pond in play, several doglegs, and the judicious use of sand bunkers around the modest, oval greens. It's short at only 6,256 yards from the tips, 70.4/120, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees. The course has some history as it's been around since the 1920s, designed by Bill Diddle, a Donald Ross contemporary who apprenticed Pete Dye, and who is said to have shot his age 1,200 times!
