The Wigwam is in west Phoenix north of I-10 at the Litchfield exit. It's a restored, classic golf resort from the 1930s with 250 rooms and three 18 hole courses.

The Gold Course is the preferred layout and is a traditional, parkland design along narrow, tree lined fairways with an abundance of fingered sand bunkers at the landing zones and defending the modest greens. The course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1965 and plays to 7,430 yards, 74.5/135, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.

The Red Course is a parkland layout as well meandering along streams and ponds through pine and eucalyptus tree lined fairways. It was designed by Red Lawrence and is 6,852 yards, 72.4/126, course/slope from the tips with with three shorter tees.

The Blue Course, a Jones Sr. design as well, is the shortest layout and somewhat target golf with water hazards on 4 holes, numerous doglegs, and a generous amount of large, deep bunkers along the landing zones and raised greens. It's 6,001 yards, 69.0/123, course/slope from the tips with three shorter tees.
