Willowbrook is on the south side of Cortland off NY 13 to the east surrounded by fields and forests.

The layout is a straightforward, parkland design along tree lined fairways with Otter Creek traversing the middle of the layout in addition to several pond, and modest, oval greens for targets. There's three sets of tees from 5,005 yards to 6,105 at the back tees, 66.0/110, course/slope ratings, designed by Dick Timmerman.
