Autumn Ridge is within a newer, upscale residential development on Auburn Road on the north side of town, not far off I-69 at Dupont Road to the west.

The golf course's layout is a parkland design moving over rolling terrain through the community. Multiple water hazards are in play, along with a liberal amount of sand traps at the landing zones and guarding the greens of all shapes and sizes. It's long from the tips at 7,103 yards, the white tees are 6,009 yards, and the course and slope ratings are 69.1/128. It was designed by Ernie Schrock in the early 1990s.
