Brookwood is on the south side of Fort Wayne, just north of the Fort Wayne International Airport at Bluffton and the Airport Expressway.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout from the 1920s that wanders along rolling, tree-lined fairways. Harber Ditch is the prominent feature cutting across the northeastern third of the course, in addition to a moderate amount of sand bunkers at the landing zones and guarding the small oval greens. It can play to 6,716 yards from the tips, 72.0/128, and is a fair test at 6,364 yards from the white tees, 70.3/122 course and slope ratings.
