Colonial Oaks is on the north side of Fort Wayne off I-69 at Lima Road then north to Wallen Road and west to the golf course.

The golf course is a parkland design meandering along tree lined fairways over level terrain and generally straightforward with OB, ponds and streams, sand traps, and narrow, oak tree fairway corridors to test course management skills. It was designed by Pat Riley in the 1960s and plays to 6,582 yards from the back tees, the middle tees are 5,939 yards, 68.5/121, course/slope ratings.
