Baker National Golf Course is in Three Rivers Park District's Baker Park Reserve 40 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis in Medina just north of Wayzata Blvd.
The golf course is in a completely natural setting surrounded by forests, wetlands, and lakes along unique and isolated fairways. The front nine meanders along broad fairways with views of Spurzem Lake while the backside is through more confining, tree lined corridors both with a generous amount of sand bunkers sprinkled about. It was one of the first Audubon Certified courses in the area as the wetlands, lakes, and swamp land have been preserved and maintained to Audubon standards. The 18 hole championship course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and is 6,762 yards, 73.9/138, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees. There's also a 9 hole executive course that's mostly used by beginners and families.
