Bayou Oaks is a 36-hole municipal golf complex located in the City Park on the north side of downtown New Orleans just off I-610.

The South Course is the preeminent layout, reconfiguring the former East and West courses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The layout cruises over slightly undulating, contoured fairways dotted by mature oak trees with comfortable spacing between the holes. It incorporates the preexisting lagoons and wetlands that border many of the fairways and greens, and it has an abundance of sand as well. There are seven tees from 5,011 to 7,302 yards off the back tees, with the White tees at 6,11 yards, 69.5/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Rees Jones.
