Briar Creek is south of Schenectady off the NY Thruway at I-88 at Rt 7.

The golf course is a parkland layout with ponds, streams, and wetlands dominating the routing. There's generally short par 3s including a semi-island green, a mix of long and short par 4s, with two full three-shot par 5s. It's a par of 70, and from the tips is 5,672 yards, 69.4/112, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Parks and Bob Smith.
