Brickyard Crossing is 20 minutes west of downtown Indianapolis developed in connection with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with four holes situated in the midfield.
The Pete Dye design is immediately adjacent to east side of the race track and has the standard Dye design features of pot bunkers, sandy waste areas, fairway mounding, and railroad tie laced sand bunkers. The course starts off open, but tightens up on the backside, especially the finishing set of holes. There's surprising elevation changes for Central Indiana along with several ponds and Little Eagle Creek traversing the layout from north to south. From the tips it plays to 7,180 yards, par of 72, 75.1/149, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
