Prairie View ambles along a bend of sorts in the White River between Carmel and Fishers on the north side of Indianapolis about 30 minutes from downtown.

The layout is along the west bank of the snaking White River with a design which mixes parkland and links elements. There's a balance between broad, contoured fairways along with those carved through the deep woods. It's a challenging layout with streams, ponds, and wetlands in play along with a plethora of sculptured sand bunkers along the landing zones off the tee and defending the greens. It plays to 7,073 yards from the back tees, 74.8/137, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes, a Robert Trent Jones, Jr design.
