Brookshire is a municipal golf course owned by the City of Carmel. It is located 30 minutes north of downtown Indianapolis off the Keystone Parkway between 116th and 126th Streets to the east.

The golf course is through a residential community, with most homes shielded by trees or foliage. It's a parkland design over slightly rolling terrain along narrow, tree-lined fairways, with the predominant feature of Cool Creek traversing the layout and in play on many of the holes. There are four sets of tees from 5,182 yards to 6,972 yards at the tips, and the white tees play to 6,406 yards, 70.7/127 course/slope ratings, designed by William Diddle.
