Plum Creek is on the north side of Indianapolis in Carmel between US 31 and I-69 north of I-465 between Fishers and Carmel.

The golf course winds through a residential community with a links style, open design along numerous water hazards with pot, conventional, and waste bunkers guarding the fairways and greens. It has its share of Pete Dye's trademark design elements of blind shots, mounded fairways, and pot bunkers providing an entertaining and challenging layout. From the Gold tees it's 6,802 yards, par 72, 73.0/135, course/slope ratings; from the White tees, it's 6,255 yards, 67.7/122 ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Pete Dye.
