Camp Creek is on the north side of Panama City off US 98, over a natural tract of coastal lowland. It is open to guests of the Watercolor Resort or a rental unit in the Watersound development.

The layout is scenic through the coastal dunes and waterways with tree-lined fairways, wetlands, ponds, and sand traps over undulating topography just a couple hundred feet from the Gulf. Interestingly, the water hazards on the front side are on the left, while on the back, it's all on the right. The golf course was designed by Tom Fazio and plays to 7,159 yards, 76.0/152, course/slope ratings from the championship tees, with four shorter tees.
