The Causeway Club is located in Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island about a 30-minute drive off Route 1 in Ellsworth.

The golf course sits on the shores of Norwood Cove with Acadia National Park, Flying Mountain, Beech Mountain and Acadia Mountain as the backdrop. It's a rather basic layout along level fairways defined by trees leading to modest, oval greens several of which are guarded by sand bunkers. It's a short 2,226 yards, par 32, 32.4/102, course/slope ratings from the back tees, designed by Alonzo Yates in 1923.
