Crosswoods is 30 minutes north of Brainerd on the northeast side of Cross Lake on Route 3. It has 27 holes.

The golf courses are parkland layouts carved through the forest in a secluded Northwoods setting. The three nines, Sunrise, Highnoon, and Sunset, are similar in design as they lumber along unique, old-growth, hardwood tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain with numerous ponds and wetlands in play, multiple slight doglegs and sand bunkers mostly positioned greenside. There are five sets of tees, with the tips playing to: Sunrise-3,002 yards, Highnoon-3,113, and Sunset-2,966 yards.
