Whitefish is in the Brainerd Lakes Area approximately 2 hours north of Minneapolis and halfway between Pequot Lakes and Crosslake just south of Bertha Lake.

It's a northwoods, layout lumbering through confining fairway corridors of trees and over rolling topography leading to generous greens most of which are defended by sand bunkers. It plays to 6,470 yards, 71.4/129, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed work by Don Herfort.
