Golden Eagle is up in the North country surrounded by Eagle, Kego, and Fox Lakes in Fifty Lakes.

The layout was carved through the forest on the west side of Eagle Lake and provides an impressive amount of elevation change along tree lined fairways and wetlands with sand bunkers primarily around the greens. It was designed by Michael Morely and Bruce McIntosh on a former 210 acre private preserve and plays to 6,745 yards, 72.8/136, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
