Del Monte is east of US 1 near the Airport and the Salinas Highway and is owned and operated by the Pebble Beach Company.

The course is an inland, parkland layout squeezed in among an established residential community with homes bordering the exterior fairways. It's saunters along broad, oak, pine and cypress lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain with an assortment of sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the modest, oval or kidney shaped greens. It was designed by Charles Maud in 1897 and plays to 6,365 yards from the back tees, 71.6/131, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
