The University Golf Course is on the southwest side of Durham, off US 501 at Cameron.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout that traverses hardwood and shrubbery-lined, rolling fairways, with each hole in complete isolation. Ponds and streams are in play on over half the holes, and a generous amount and variety of sand bunkers defend the landing zones and greens. The "Devil" championship tees play to 7,154 yards, 73.9/141, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees. The course was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and Rees Jones recently renovated it.
