The University Golf Course is on the southwest side of Durham off US 501 at Cameron.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout which traverses hardwood and shrubbery lined, rolling fairways with each hole in complete isolation. There's ponds and streams in play on over half the holes and a generous amount and variety of sand bunkers defending the landing zones and greens. The "Devil" championship tees play to 7,154 yards, 73.9/141, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. with recent renovations by Rees Jones.
