Hillandale is a municipal golf course located north of the Duke Campus and west of downtown Durham on Hillandale Road.

The golf course is a traditional design along rolling, tree lined fairways with Ellerbe Creek running through the middle of the course as the dominant feature of this target layout. It's only 6,339 yards from the tips, the white tees are at 6,002 yards, 69.0/118 course and slope ratings, originally designed by Donald Ross and Perry Maxwell with a redesign by George Cobb.
