The Eagle Golf Course is located near the East Gate to Eglin on the north side of Niceville.

The Eagle is carved through the pine forests along isolated and unique fairways, with Plew Lake and its associated tributaries as the centerpiece. The fairways are broad and narrow, with numerous doglegs and sand bunkers primarily positioned mostly around the greens. There are four sets of tees; the white tees of the Eagle play to 6,316 yards, 71.2/132 course/slope ratings. The Eagle is the original layout once known as the "Chicago Country Club," as it was frequented by Al Capone in its earlier days and designed by Langford and Moreau.
