The Grande GC is located just south of Jackson off US 127 at Floyd Avenue.

The golf course traverses a roomy, 400 acres along marshes, wetlands, and forests with broad fairways and varying degrees of elevation change. Sand is the dominant feature with a variety of shapes and sizes of sand traps positioned along the fairways and defending the greens. The course's main defenses though are the approaches to and around the greens which tend to be generous, multi-tiered, and undulating. It plays to a total of 7,157 yards, 74.3/147, course/slope ratings from the tips with five shorter tees, designed by Raymond Hearn.
