Hills' Heart of the Lakes golf course is located on the northeast side of Brooklyn, bordering the River Raisn to the south.

The golf course is a straightforward parkland layout traveling along broad, tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling contours. There are only two water hazards in play and a moderate number of sand traps as primary hazards. There are two sets of tees, with the tips at 5,472 yards, and a par of 69, 67.0/120, course/slope ratings, and design work by Mike Hill and Jeff Gorney.
