Green Valley is southeast of Providence on Union Street in Portsmouth on Aquidneck Island.

The layout is parkland style along broad, tree lined fairways over level land with several water hazards in play and a moderate amount of sand bunkers playing to slightly elevated, generous greens. It's 6,830 yards from the back tees, 72.6/128, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Manuel Raposa in 1957.
