Las Vegas National Golf Club is east of the Strip on Desert Inn Road tucked into an established residential community.
The course is a parkland style design over a fairly flat tract of land along tree lined fairways with numerous water hazards and sand bunkers defending the fairways and ample greens. The course measures 6,572 from the back tees, 72.1/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes. It's one of the early golf courses to be developed in Las Vegas opening in 1961, known then as the Stardust Golf Club designed by Bert Stamps. It later became the Sahara, then the Hilton before it's current title. The course has held the PGA Tour's Tournament of Champions in the mid-70s and was part of the rota for the Las Vegas Invitational.
