Lodestone is at the Wisp Resort in western Maryland on Marsh Run Cove of Deep Creek Lake.

The golf course lumbers over and around the lower part of the ski resort in a scenic setting with views of the mountains and Deep Creek Lake throughout. The layout is carved along rolling and sloping, tree lined fairways bordered by rock outcroppings with an abundance of shapes and sizes of sand bunkers. It was designed by Hale Irwin with four sets of tees, the white tees play to 6,227 yards, 69.7/127, course/slope ratings.
