Oyster Reef is on the far northern tip of HHI within an upscale, residential community.

The golf course is carved through the pine forest and lagoons over level terrain along slight and dramatic doglegs with an abundance of sand and water in play. It features one of the more notable holes and settings on HH—the Par 3, 6th at 192 yards from the tips to a green that is set with Port Royal Sound as the backdrop. The course was designed by Rees Jones and plays to 7,005 yards, 74.7/137, course/slope ratings off the tips with three shorter tees.
