Pine Hollow is on the southeast side of Raleigh off I-40 at the Bus. 70 exit toward Clayton.

The layout partially borders a residential community along tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain. The front side has the majority of water hazards, while the back side features narrow corridors of hardwood trees and green sites tucked into coves. It's a par 71, 6,508 yards from the tips, 71.6/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Maurice Brackett and Bob Moore in the late 1960s.
