Pinecrest is a classic, Donald Ross gem from the 1920s on the east side of Lake Lotela in Avon Park just east of US 27.

The golf course is a straightforward, parkland layout flowing over over level terrain adjoining an older residential development on the Lake. The fairways are bordered by native trees, orange groves, and natural areas with sand bunkers primarily defending the small, oval greens. From the tips it plays to 6,719 yards, 71.4/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tee boxes.
