Pinecrest is a classic Donald Ross gem from the 1920s, located on the east side of Lake Lotela in Avon Park, just east of US 27.

The golf course is a straightforward parkland layout flowing over level terrain adjoining an older residential development on the Lake. The fairways are bordered by native trees, orange groves, and natural areas, with sand bunkers primarily defending the small oval greens. From the tips, it plays to 6,719 yards, 71.4/120 course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tee boxes.
