Rancho Bernardo is a classic, California resort between Poway and Escondido on the east side of I-15 at Rancho Bernado Road.

The golf course is a traditional parkland style design through tree lined fairways bordered by the ever present OB, sand bunkers, lakes, and streams with contoured and sloping greens well protected by sand. It can play to 6,631 yards, 72.3/133, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, originally by William Bell with renovation work by Ted Robinson.
