Rancho Bernardo is a classic, California resort between Poway and Escondido on the east side of I-15 at Rancho Bernardo Road.

The golf course is a traditional parkland-style design through tree-lined fairways bordered by the ever-present OB, sand bunkers, lakes, and streams with contoured and sloping greens well protected by sand. It can play to 6,631 yards, 72.3/133, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, originally by William Bell with renovation work by Ted Robinson.
