San Vicente Golf Club is part of a resort on the southeast side of Ramona about 30 minutes from downtown San Diego off I-8 east to the San Vicente Fwy winding up to Ramona.

The course roams around the resort hotel and a residential community in a scenic setting. The layout is parkland style along level tree lined fairways with a generous amount of sand traps and water hazards along the fairways and guarding the greens. It's 6,633 yards from the tips, 71.7/131, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Ted Robinson in the early 1970s and redesigned by Andy Staples.
