River Greens is within an established residential community on the north side of Avon Park between Lake Pythias and Lake Damon.

It's a generally level layout along fairways bordered by palm trees and homes with water features in play on half the holes and less than 25 sand bunkers overall. There's five sets of tees from 4,200 yards to 6,400 yards from the back tees, the white tees are 5,831 yards, 67.7/117, course/slope ratings, designed by Jack Kidwell.
