The Highlands is in Post Falls off I-90 at exit 7 to the north just east of Spokane.

The course is a somewhat hilly, parkland layout traversing a residential development through the pine trees overlooking the town of Post Falls. It's in a very scenic setting with water in play on 10 holes, several slight and dramatic doglegs, and sand bunkers defending the landing zones and greens. It was designed by Jim Krause and has an overall yardage of 6,385 yards, par 73, 69.7/120, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. T
