Twin Lakes is part of an established residential resort community 30 minutes north of Coeur D' Alene in Rathdrum on the southeast side of Twin Lake.

The golf course is a parkland layout winding through pine tree lined, fairways with views of the Bitterroot Mountains throughout the round. There's water hazards in play on over half the holes in addition to a variety of sand traps along the fairways and guarding the greens complexes. It's not all that long at 6,277 yards from the tips, 70.5/124 course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by William Robinson.
